Chris Martin y la relacion con Gwyneth Paltrow

COLDPLAY hará su primera aparición en "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" el jueves, 27 de octubre. Ellen se sienta con testaferro Chris Martin y el guitarrista Jonny Buckland. Elena habla con Chris acerca de cómo su esposa Gwyneth Paltrow y revela la relación más larga que ha tenido es con Jonny. Además, Coldplay tocará "Paradise" y "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" de su nuevo álbum "Mylo Xyloto".

Ellen: No hablar de Gwyneth mucho?
Chris: No.
Ellen: Pero usted tiene una gran relación y dos hijos preciosos. Y nos encanta Paltrow. Ella ha estado aquí muchas veces.
Chris: Ha sido una gran barba para mí ahora, desde hace 10 años.

Chris Martin cuelga en entrevista después de las preguntas sobre la esposa Gwyneth Paltrow (actualización)

El viernes Coldplay realizó en el Today Show para promocionar su nuevo álbum, Mylo Xyloto. Ellos fueron impresionantes y consideré que cubre sólo para la música por sí sola. En este punto yo no soy un fan de Coldplay enorme, pero me encantó su primer álbum y todavía tengo una debilidad por ellos. Son talentosos, hacen buena música y se puede dar un infierno de un espectáculo. Así que estamos en la semana que viene ahora y por supuesto que hay una historia acerca de Chris Martin comportando como un idiota durante la promoción. Es bien sabido que odia hablar de su esposa beata famoso, nunca ha hecho una alfombra roja con ella y le preguntó una vez a un periodista lo que su posición sexual favorita fue cuando ella le hizo una pregunta inocua acerca de si él nunca haría una dúo con Gywneth. En otra ocasión, le dio un puñetazo a un hombre en el pecho por haber mencionado ex Gwyneth Brad Pitt. Él sólo podía odiar a hacer entrevistas también, que una vez se marchó a la BBC cuando se hizo a su vez que no le gustaba. (Lo cual no tiene nada que ver con Goop, supuestamente.) Parece que Martin ha sido suavizar un poco su postura acerca de hablar de Gwyneth. En una reciente entrevista con CBS, comparó a casarse con Goop "ganar la lotería." Bueno, él no está listo para hablar de ella mucho, sin embargo. Colgó en una entrevista de radio cuando le preguntaron muchas preguntas acerca de ella.Esta noticia llega a través de chismes Lainey y tuve que escuchar a lo largo de 10 minutos de charla jinete antes de llegar al corazón de la historia. Actualización: Gracias a Sadie por dejarme conocer el audio de la entrevista ha terminado. Es el segundo enlace de audio en esta página y se inicia en la marca de 11:00. Chris al principio dice que "no es muy bueno en responder a estas preguntas", entonces cuando el entrevistador le preguntó acerca de tweeting Gwyneth que el álbum era una obra maestra, alrededor de las 6:00, él deja escapar un suspiro y cuelga. Como otro menciones DJ, Chris comenzó a recibir pissy Goop cuando fue mencionado. No había demasiadas preguntas que vienen a él de por sí, era demasiado muchas preguntas acerca de Gwyneth.

On Friday Coldplay performed on the Today Show to promote their new album, Mylo Xyloto. They were impressive and I considered covering that just for the music alone. At this point I’m not a huge Coldplay fan, but I loved their first album and I still have a soft spot for them. They’re talented, they make good music and they can give a hell of a performance. Well we’re into next week now and sure enough there’s a story about Chris Martin behaving like a dick during promotion. It’s well known that he hates to talk about his famous sanctimonious wife, he’s never done a red carpet with her and he once asked a female journalist what her favorite sexual position was when she asked him an innocuous question about whether he’d ever do a duet with Gywneth. Another time, he punched a guy in the chest for mentioning Gwyneth’s ex Brad Pitt. He could just hate to do interviews also, he once walked off a BBC interview when it took at turn he didn’t like. (Which didn’t have anything to do with Goop, supposedly.) It seems like Martin has been softening a little bit on his stance about talking about Gwyneth. In a recent CBS interview, he compared marrying Goop to “winning the lottery.” Well he’s not ready to talk about her much, though. He hung up on a radio interview when they asked him too many questions about her. This news comes via Lainey Gossip and I had to listen to over 10 minutes of jockey chatter before I got to the heart of the story. I guess four people were on the air asking questions, and a lot of questions were about Gwyneth, since they figured Martin had opened the floodgates already with that CBS interview. Martin let out a sigh and hung up on them during the interview, which was not yet aired and wasn’t live. After he hung up, Martin called back and said that he didn’t object to any particular questions and that it was more about the fact that too many were coming at once. The interviewers thought it did have to do with Gwyneth, though.

There were no restrictions on what we can or cannot ask.
After the interview, we’re all sitting there and we’re shaking our heads after he hangs up on us. We’re all not sure what went wrong here… He calls back, gets his people on the phone…
I said “Gwyneth Paltrow tweeted that this next album is a masterpiece. I said ‘she sort of has to say that right?’”
He hung up, then he called back and asked to talk to him off the air.
He said “I’m just not used to that many people asking me that many questions so quickly. I just was uncomfortable.”
He never said “I didn’t want to talk about Gwyneth… I wasn’t comfortable with the interview,” is what he said.
He was trying to stress that he was overwhelmed by the questions.
He kept saying he wasn’t offended…
He then requested that we not run it. “You don’t have to play that.”

So what’s going on with this dude? If he doesn’t want to talk about his wife, that should be specified up front. Given his history at freaking out over questions about her, most interviewers should kind of know not to bring it up. I’m not saying he had the right to hang up, just that it’s an obvious sore spot for him. He’s also really touchy. Couldn’t he have just said “one at a time please?”
I’m hoping they release the full interview tomorrow. I’d really like to hear it.
Update: Thanks to Sadie for letting me know the audio of the interview is up. It’s the second audio link on this page and it starts at the 11:00 mark. Chris at first says he’s “not very good at answering these questions,” then when the interviewer asked about Gwyneth tweeting that the album was a masterpiece, around 6:00 in, he lets out a sigh and hangs up. As another DJ mentions, Chris started getting pissy when Goop was mentioned. There weren’t too many questions coming at him per se, it was just too many questions about Gwyneth.

Chris Martin habla sobre su matrimonio con Gwyneth: "Es como ganar la lotería"

Chris Martin no está a punto de Gwyneth Paltrow por sentado. El 34-años de edad, se siente muy afortunado de estar casado con la diosa GOOP, y no sólo porque es la única novela seria que ha tenido.

En una entrevista con CBS Sunday Morning, Anthony Mason le preguntó a Martin si era cierto que él sólo había tenido "una relación seria".

"[Es] bien", dijo el cantante de Coldplay. "Estoy en ello".

Chris Martin isn’t about to take Gwyneth Paltrow for granted. The 34-year-old feels really lucky to be married to the GOOP Goddess, and not just because she’s the only serious romance he’s ever had.
In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Anthony Mason asked Martin if it was true that he’d only had “one serious relationship.”
“[That's] right,” the Coldplay frontman said. “I’m in it.”
When Mason pointed out that Martin’s lack of serious girlfriends in the past was “pretty unusual” and told him he’d made “quite a leap,” the musician quipped: “It’s a big leap? What, from being a loser, to going out with an Oscar winner?”
He laughingly continued: “It’s a giant leap. Let’s face it: it’s like winning the lottery.”
Martin and Paltrow, who said “I do” in 2003, are parents to Moses, 5, and Apple, 7.
So how has being a father changed Martin’s professional life? “It’s made it more focused,” he said. “And you have a purpose. I like what it does. Just the idea of having to work hard so your kids are okay.”
